It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel John Schlender (Oconomowoc, Wisconsin), who passed away on October 26, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav "Gus" H. M. and Frieda E. Schlender; and his siblings, Virginia, Esther, Harold, Alfred, Ronald and Arnold.

He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Daryl Schlender (Pamela) of Griswold, Connecticut, Karen Trepton (Dave), Gary Schlender (Victoria) and Kyle Schlender (Cindy) of Oconomowoc; his siblings, G. Paul Schlender, Miriam Frank (Al) and Pauline Stephan (Barry); and his siblings-in-law, Donna Schlender and Robert Butschke (Cathy). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
