He was predeceased by: his parents, John Swanton and Elsie Swanton; and his parents-in-law, Hugo and Frances Baerwald. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin and Keith; his wife Judy; his daughter Lorene McMullen (Bill); and his stepgranddaughter Stefanie. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.

Memorials are to be designated to St. John's Cemetery Association.
