She is survived by: her husband Tom Vilter; her stepchildren, Scott, Joan and Linda Carlson (Vilter); her sister-in-law Karen Berkoben; her niece Teresa; and her nephew Matthew. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
