She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Haldeman and Minnie Haldeman; her spouse Ernie Borchardt; her son Alan Borchardt (Teri); and her siblings, Grace Lehner, Bob Haldeman and George.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Schomer (Bob), Peggy Burow (Raymond) and Ernie P. Borchardt (Corlis); her grandchildren, Eric Hintermeyer (Erin), Angela Brehmer (Chuck), Kristel Carlson (Darren), Chad Block (Jenny), Tim Borchardt (Laura), Stacy Torres, Amy Malosh (Dan), Ryan Borchardt (Beth) and Charles Borchardt (Brittney); and her sisters, Karen Blank (Glen) and Helen Schrieber (Dale). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
