Amy S. Youngquist Obituary
Youngquist, Amy S. (Nee Gawron) found Eternal Joy surrounded by her loving family, sister and dog on October 24th 2022. Loving wife of over 32 years to Mark Youngquist. She was a beloved mother to Claire, Morgan, and Carson Youngquist. She also was a proud dog mom to Macc and proud dog grandma to Beau and Remi. She is the loving sister to Mary (Jerry) Pratt who was a pillar in her cancer journey. Daughter-in law to Dennis Youngquist, and sister-in-law to Chuck (Doris) Youngquist, and Jill (John) Dumas. Preceded in death by her mother and father Frank and Judy Gawron, mother-in-law Dian Youngquist and brother Mark (Jody) Gawron. Further survived by countless additional family members and friends.
Amy was a warrior who fiercely loved her family and friends. She was the life of the party and was always the first on the dance floor and often with a tambourine. Amy enjoyed being outdoors, camping, kayaking and paddle boarding. She was also an avid baseball fan and watched a game almost every day during the season. She also had a new love for curling. Amy was the co-founder of the Wild Turkeys Book Club (more of wine club if we are being honest) and nurtured many friendships over the years.
Amy's legacy will continue through those that knew her by following her example of spreading kindness and Choosing Joy.
