She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Schuster and Alma Schuster; her sisters, Doris Doege and Mabel Flanagan; and her siblings-in-law, Don Doege, Joe Flanagan, Don Thurow, Ken Thurow, Dave Winchell, Dave Fracaro and Mona Thurow.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Wayne Thurow; her children, Lynn Baumann (John) of Watertown and Lee Thurow (Linda) of Oconomowoc; her grandchildren, Brent Baumann (Karen) of Madison, Courtney Baumann of Milwaukee, Heidi Willmann (Steve Neitzel) of Summit, Josh Thurow (Brittany) of Oconomowoc and Cayla Anderson (Evan) of Oconomowoc; her great grandchildren, Mason, Skylar, Conner, Taylin, Reese and Colette; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Thurow, Dona Thurow, Betti Schroeder (Bruce) and Joanne Winchell.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Oconomowoc or the Oconomowoc Regional Cancer Center.
