With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sydney M. Henke of Oakfield, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 20, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Cowles and Margaret Bird Cowles; her brother Leslie Cowles Jr.; her parents-in-law, Paul and Viola Henke; and her brother-in-law Donald Henke (Katherine).
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Henke; her children, William Henke (Patti), James Henke (Joyce), Wendy Hounsell (Charles), Julie Franke (Richard) and Michael Henke (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Kyle Henke (Ashley), Ryan Franke, Samuel Hounsell and Tyler Franke (Alyssa); her great grandchild Luci Rose Henke (Franke); her stepgrandchildren, Chad Hounsell (Sarah), Brad Hounsell, Todd Rieder, Tami Hale (Ryan) and Tyler Rieder (Andrea); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Aaliyah Hounsell (Jacob), Hunter Hounsell, Mason Hounsell, Haiden Rieder, Brock Rieder, Iven Rieder, Maren Hale and Logan Hale; her sister-in-law Carol Henke; and her sister Nancy Leonhardt. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sydney's name may be directed to the Oakfield Fire Dept.
