It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen M. Mattila of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen M. Mattila to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her parents, Willard Buren and Carol Van Buren; and her sister Wanda Sjoblom. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Mattila, Shelly Mattila, Cheryl Madden (Pete) and Stacy Klug (Troy); her grandchildren, Brian Lowis (Annie), Jamie Cole (Michael) and Allison Wagner; her great grandchildren, Abby Burie, Sky Lowis, Jonah, Janessa, Miles and Sullivan Cole; and her siblings, Nadine Sjoblom and Duane Van Buren (Marlene).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society-Racine Campus or WAAGR Wisconsin Adopt a Golden Retriever Rescue, in honor of her favorite Instagram dog "Henry".
