He was predeceased by: his parents, Southall Hamilton and Nanette Hamilton (Busalacchi); and his brother William Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Griffen; his children, Megan and Michael Hamilton; his sister Dede Barenholtz (Hamilton); and his siblings-in-law, Daryl Barenholtz and Janet Hamilton. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to these organizations in memory of John: American Diabetes Foundation, the American Kidney Fund, or the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
