He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Hubert Ferrier and Clara Anna Ferrier; his former wife Barbara Ferrier; his sons, Dave (Brianna Elmer), John and Dan (Dawn Lindsey); his grandson Harrison; his great-grandparent John; his grandparents, Regan and Scotlyn; his cousin Jim Perlewitz; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Wayne Alexander) and Beverly (Jeff Rice); his nieces, Lori (Chris Jones), Kari Alexander (Ed Rothbauer) and Michelle (Matt Berres); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Grace, Allie, Emily, Ella, Crystal, Tyler, Jason and Joshua.
