He was predeceased by: his wife Margie. He is survived by: his children, James Jr. (Cary), Thomas (Jody) and Julie Trinkner (Steve); and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Emily, Charlie and Dakota. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic appreciated.
