He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Davitz and Gertrude Davitz; his sister-in-law Joan Hensgen (Richard); his stepmothers, Harriet and Edna; his siblings, James, John, Janis and Joyce; his in-laws, Arnold and Mildred Penza; and his siblings-in-law, Ken McLees, William Schultz, Don, John, George, Dennis, Tom Penza and Marie Penza.
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Davitz; his children, Jeff, Amy Castellion (late Richard), Jodi Bankenbush (Greg) and James (Amanda); his grandchildren, Nick (Sarah), Celeste, Brian (Cass), Kyle Castellion, Dustin (Alyssa), Gracie, Brandon (Abbey), Taylor, Emilie Davitz (Trever), Jay (Brooke) and Abby Bankenbush (Brian); his sister Judith McLees; and his brothers-in-law, James (Linda), Frank Penza (Cherie), Al Horgen and Dale Willms. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (10302 S 27th St, Oak Creek, WI 53154). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
