She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kotten and Mary Kotten; her daughter Mary Jo Kowitz-Downing (Lori); her siblings, Jim (Pat), Cletus Kotten (Joyce), Bernard Kotten (Bonnie) and Marilyn (Bill VanSlyke); and her parents-in-law, Loren and Muriel Kowitz.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Kowitz; her daughters, Carolyn Mack (George), Colleen Swenson (Todd) and Wendy Harris; and her sister Kathleen Stoikes (Ronald). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
