He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Chad Osgood; and his grandparents, Richard, Marleah Niedfeldt and Joan Jolivette. He is survived by: his parents, Howard Niedfeldt of Bangor and Carrie Niedfeldt (Jolivette) of Onalaska; his sons, Owen, Brock and Mason Niedfeldt of Cashton; his former wife Theresa Niedfeldt; his sisters, Wendy Whitehead (Ryan) of West Salem and Angela Osgood of Mindoro; and his grandfather John L. Jolivette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
