She was predeceased by: her husband Paul F. Shimkus, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Burns (James) and Karen Bergman (late Jeffrey); her granddaughters, Katherine Burns (Joseph Pfister) and Amanda Hasse (Anthony); her pet Lucy; and also Darlene Halfmann (Robert).
