She was predeceased by: her brother Jack; and her son Kevin Tyre. She is survived by: her husband Edward Tyre; her children, Timothy Tyre (Marilyn), Doug Tyre (Carlotta Lembach), Brian Tyre (Julie Reimer), Betsy DiDomenico (Dan), Chris Tyre (Lisa) and Margaret "Meg" Vukelich (Pat); her grandchildren, Emily Hepburn (Andy), Lisa Sunshine West (Pete), Kateri Tyre-Blankenbaker (Graham), Sean Tyre, Jennifer, Nathan, Colin Pollesch, Tony, Daniel, Frank DiDomenico (Kristine), Ian Tyre, Erin, Matt and Grace Vukelich; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, James Hepburn, Chloe Ewing, Cody, Dylan, Jesse West, Liliana Pollesch and Wesley DiDomenico.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Epilepsy Foundation Southeast Wisconsin, the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS), or to Children's Hospital Foundation.
