He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Bender and Vera Bender (Frambs); his daughter Susan Bender; and his siblings, Wava Vertein and Keith Bender.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Keyson; his children, Michael Bender and Marsha Babler (Christopher); his granddaughter Payton Babler; his nieces and nephews, Cynthia Heartlein (Jeff), Greg Vertein (Dawn), Jeff Bender (Colleen), Kevin Bender (Patty), Connie Young and Marcus Bender; and his cousins, Ruth Burseen and Linda LeMoine. He is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
