In the sacred silence of farewell, Gary Robert is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gary Robert's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Meske and Hazel Meske (DuBois); his wife Barbara Ann Angle; and his sisters, Jean Schwanke (Webster) and Sandra Bell (Robert).

He is survived by: his son Kevin Meske of Madison; his brother Gayl Meske (Ramona) of Casa Grande, AZ; his nephew Richard Bell of Grand Marsh; his niece Constance Toyoda-Bell (Makoto) of North Freedom; his granddaughter Sandra Mai Toyoda-Bell; and his close friend Buster. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in North Freedom for a Gary and Barbara Meske memorial scholarship fund.

“Gary was friendly kind and loved people, I have fond memories of him from the time I was a little boy… I recall seeing him often at his his mom and dads house in La Rue .. it was always a treat to see him.. he told lots of good stories and had a heart of gold.
