He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Immel and Dora Immel; his father-in-law Marvin Fink; and his siblings, Mildred Keys (George), Raymond Immel (Charlotte), Fred Mielke, Myron Immel (Susan), Harlan Immel and Gordon Immel.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Immel; his son Michael Immel (Kelli); his granddaughter Tiffany Orlando (Matthew); his daughter Brenda Bly (Don); his stepson David Schmitz (Sue); his stepgranddaughter Heather Perry (Daniel Krenn); his stepson Daniel Schmitz (Michelle); his stepgranddaughters, Miranda Page (William) and Nicole Henning (Kurtis); his great grandchildren, Everett, Vincent and Whitney; his siblings, Delores Mielke, Marge Geiger (Jerry) and Vernon Immel (Lila); his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Immel and Verna Immel; his mother-in-law Dorothy Fink; and also, Jackie Shady (Herb) and Dan Fink. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
