She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Bacon and Carol Funk Bacon; her husband James "Jim" Scharf; her stepson Daniel Scharf (Dawn); her daughter Tiffany (Alika Gonzales); her grandchildren, Allyah and Tristyn; her children, Katherine Scharf, Alexandra (Tom), Hailey (Abby), Caleb and Gabriella; her sister Mary Klutzine; her nephew Benjamin; her niece Megan Rutherford (Lee); her son Robby; her brother Robert Bacon Jr.; her niece Jenna Sheriden; and her nephew Bryce Scheriden. She was also cherished by her aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews.
