She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Schoen and Germaine Schoen (Detry); her husband Mark VandenBush; her daughter Robin Nys; her siblings, Bill Schoen (Ginny), Mary Morris (Horace) and Terri Schmude; her brothers-in-law, John Synder and Scott Lepp; and her pet Maggie.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Baker (Ryan) and Mike Nys Jr. (Gyla); her siblings, Randy Schoen (Dorothy), Richard Schoen (JoAnn), Mike Schoen (Darlene), Berdeen Snyder, Karen Lyng, Patti Meyer (Peter) and Tina Belongia (Scott); and her grandsons, Alec, Tanner Nys and Allen Gustafson.
