She was predeceased by: her parents, David Sims and Dorothy Sims (Pruett); her husband William "Bill" Butterfield; her sons, Steven Butterfield and William Butterfield, Jr.; her siblings, John Sims, David Sims and Brenda Sims; and her sister-in-law Peggy Sims.
She is survived by: her children, Howard Butterfield (Veronica), David W. Butterfield (DeAnna), Stephen Butterfield (Chris), Brian Butterfield (Robin), Randy Butterfield, Cindy Annear (Keith), Lori Walters and Christine Cazzola; her siblings, Wayne Sims (Eleanor) and Veronica Anderson (Moe); and her grandchildren, Christopher Annear, Nicole Butterfield and Shelly Connery. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
