He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zbilski and Elsie Zbilski (Gunther); and his siblings, Roland Zbilski, Dorothy and Lorraine.
He is survived by: his wife Francie Jensen; his sons, Dennis Lyon, Penn, Jody (Stephanie), Johnny Dickerson (Emily) and Mich; and his sister Joan Paske. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
