He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Butler and Helen Butler; his wife Patricia; his son Dan; his children-in-law, Melody Butler and Gary Molle; and his brother Henry Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Molle (Mike Massie) of Niagara, Robert Butler (Julie) of Niagara and Denise Hurzeler (Tom) of Niagara; his grandchildren, Matthew Molle (Amber), Jason Molle (Erin), Melissa Anderson (Kyle), Brian Hurzeler (Chelsea), Brad Butler (Rachael), Christine Stec (Brian), Katie Thomson (Bryan), Rachel Reas (Mike) and Elizabeth Gerek (Ryan); and his close friends, Terry Sweig, Timmy VanHulla and Mike LeQuia. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
