He was predeceased by: his father Ralph "Dick" Hubbartt; his brother-in-law Paul Ochs; his parents-in-law, Jon and Dianne Matthias; and his grandparents, Ralph S. Hubbartt, Doloris Foley, John and Cecelia Glomski.
He is survived by: his mother Arlene Hubbartt (Glomski); his wife Amy Hubbartt; his children, Anna Behnke (Travis), Abby Schroeder (PJ), Olivia Hubbartt and Andrew Hubbartt; his siblings, Gail Ochs, Vickie Lutz (Frank) and Brenda Morreau (Jerry); and his parents-in-law, Christy Scheurell (Greg), Maribel, Jean Matthias, Joy Matthias (Petr Servus), Marty Matthias (Karie) and Kathy Rezba (Matt). He is also survived by Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Newton First Responders or Newton Fire Department.
