He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Calvin and Phyllis Bremer (Hug); his aunts and uncles, Paul Potthast, Lillian, Jack Torrence, Ida Mae and Howard Keller; his cousin Jed Keller; his grandparents, George, Lydia Bremer, Milton and Edna Hug (Orville Riepshoff); and his father-in-law Eugene Schwantz.
He is survived by: his wife Jodi Schwantz; his children, Lydia Bremer-McCollum (Adam) of Three Oaks, MI and Carl Bremer; his brother Eric Bremer (Helen Jameson) of Chicago, IL; his mother-in-law Marlys Schwantz; his brothers-in-law, Jeff Schwantz and Jon Schwantz (Annette); his aunt Karen Potthast of Highland, IL; his cousin Mike (Michelle); and also Jodi.
In lieu of flowers, the family is receiving memorial funds to be used for educational scholarships.
