He is survived by: his parents, Roger Igel and Joan Igel (Senkbeil); his children, Nikolas Igel and Lillian Igel; his brother Jeff Igel (Paula); his niece Cassandra Igel; his nephew Jake Igel; and his close friend Bonnie Freeman. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
