He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vetsch and Anna Vetsch (Pederson); and his siblings, James, Don and Doris.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Groth of New Richmond; his daughter Jennifer Lariviere (Mick) of Stillwater; and his grandchildren, Ivy, Coral and Ezra Lariviere. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, several brothers and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
