He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boor and Marie Boor (Tschimperle); his son Alan Boor; his brother Kenneth Boor (Waverly); and his siblings-in-law, Harry Olson, Irene and Josephine Boor.

He is survived by: his wife Gert Boor; his children, Joseph Boor, Diana Armstrong (Chris), Mark Boor and Aaron Boor; his grandchildren, Drew Boor, Russell Boor and Kayla Johnson; his great grandchild Hunter Guerrero Boor; and his siblings, Jack Boor, Mary Jane Olson, Leo Boor (Mary) and Jim Boor. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
