He is survived by: his wife Carol Petri; his children, Scott Cartwright (Jackie), Cindy Steger (James), Brenda Brunet (Aaron) and Brian Cartwright (Stacie Zwick); his grandchildren, Paul (Haley), Chad, Kelli, Katelyn, Wesley (Katie), Austin, Abbigale, Nicole, Tylyn, Allison and Sheyanne; his great grandchild Colton; his brothers, Daniel Cartwright (Melanie) and Robert Cartwright; his niece Crystal; and his pet Molly.
