He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Hoffman and Elsie Hoffman (Kitzman); and his brother William Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Kaye Hoffman (Engebretson); his daughters, Tina Brownson (Greg) of Florence, WI and Amy Drake (Fran) of Chester, CT; his granddaughter Katie Brownson (Patrick Kinkopf); his great grandchildren, Tripp and Ben Brownson (Sarah); and also Tommy.

Due to COVID 19, funeral services will be postponed until a later date.
