He was predeceased by: his son James Everts; his sisters, Rosalie, Rita and Mary; his brother-in-law James Meshnick; and his father-in-law Leonard Puffe.
He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Amy Muskevitsch (Tim) and Tammy Everts-Kuhnke (Brian Herning); his mother-in-law Pat Puffe; his grandchildren, Trisha, Taylor, Dakota and Zachary; his great grandchild Sophia; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Shaw (Scott), Jill Jensen (Bart), Leonard Puffe, Timothy Puffe, Terry Puffe (Lisa), Peter Puffe and Scott Puffe; and his siblings, Don Everts, Daniel Everts, David Everts (Sue), Roy Everts (Vicki), Kevin Everts, Faith Erickson, Julie Everts and Kay Meshnick. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
