He is survived by: his spouse Darla Schmidt; his children, Patti Jensen (Larry), Mark Ritchie and Dale Ritchie; his grandchildren, Chad Ritchie, Ben Ritchie, Kevin Ritchie, Brian Ritchie, Chris Ritchie, Adam Ritchie, Jamie Stroud, Joe Ritchie, Cody Spatz, Kyle Spatz, Jacob Jensen and Lucas Jensen; and his siblings, David Ritchie (Bonnie), Bernard Ritchie (Charlene), Phyllis Laughlin (Gene), Lorraine Kettner (Carl), Rose Schultz (Dan), Margaret Rasmussen, Noni Gorges (Art) and Reta Wirth. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
