He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Walter, Isabel Young, Clarence and Virginia Seefeld. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Young and Carol Young of Bear Creek, WI; his sisters, Renee Young, Lisa Schmoll (Jeremy) of Bear Creek, WI and Amy Schultz (Bryan); his significant other Wing Wong; and his uncle Roger Seefeld. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

“I became acquainted with Kevin some years ago through Purple Patch Fitness and regularly exercised with him. Kevin also was a participant and regular contributor to Swim Across America-SF Bay Area, a swim that supports children's cancer research and recovery. I join so many others who mourn his passing but offer the message that his memory lives on as a quiet and kind soul with a thirst for challenges-intellectual and physical. I will miss you, Kevin.”
