She was predeceased by: her father Donald Abraham; and her sister Sandra Hendricks. She is survived by: her mother Betty Abraham (Nelson); her husband Thomas Tews; her children, Anthony Flanagan, Megan Timm (Justin), Jakob Tews, Sarah Backman (Randy) and Meagan Schweinert (Thomas); her grandchildren, Declan, Delta Timm, Logan Tews, Jayden, Whitley Bachman, Lena and Eli Schweinert; and her sisters, Jan Zettler (Dale), Pam Moorehouse (Clayton) and Deborah Krueger. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
