She was predeceased by: her father Bob; her son Darrell; her brother Arlin; her grandson Benjamen Breiting; and her brother-in-law Roger Redman.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Julius Finger; her siblings, Annette Rosenberg (Maynard), Barbara Redman, Connie Coe, Nathan Burton (Mary), Dennis Burton (Colleen) and Duane Burton (Gerilynn); her brother-in-law Richard Finger (Sally); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Brigham, Jessica Dixon (Adam), Adam Giacalone (Alyse), Alex Giacalone (Mariah) and Nick Breiting (Amanda). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations be made instead to Emanuel Lutheran School in New London in memory of Joanne.
