She is survived by: her children, Katanu Waruhiu (Kimenyi) and Kioko Mwosa (Thato); her grandchildren, Jasmine Waruhiu, Kali Waruhiu, Sifa, Bosa and Tuli Mwosa; her siblings, Cheryl, Wargula, Rose Stern (Steve Thompson), Verna LeNoble and Bob; and her friend Reeny Gagnow. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, her extended Nairobi family and many friends.
