He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Swanson and Beulah Swanson (Wood); his brothers, Arthur and Lawrence; and his stepmother Hattie Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Brehmer; his children, Lea Jackman (John) and Chad Swanson (Stefanie); his grandchildren, Austin Jackman, Sawyer Jackman, Liliana Swanson and Erik James Swanson; and his half-brother Jerry Rasmussen.
