He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rena Dykstra and Gaastra; and his wife Elizabeth Halbersma.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home (2201 Chestnut St, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
