He was predeceased by: his parents, Wenzel Steffek and Mary Steffek (Cherney); his son Robert Steffek; and his siblings, Helen Strube, George Steffek, Sylvia Resch and Margaret Bauknecht.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Steffek (Sharyl), Tom Steffek (Janice), Susan Cloutier (Stacey), John Steffek and Ken Steffek. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
