With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar Lyle Algiers (New London, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lance Algiers and Mildred Algiers (Dalley); his grandsons, Lance and Kent Kaepernick; and his parents-in-law, Adolph and Ada Klatt.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Nitke (Timothy), Mary Bellile (Ron) of New London, Teresa Kaepernick (Rick), Ted Algiers (Pat) of New London, Jennifer Flease of New London, Kathy Algiers of Appleton, Tom Algiers (Valerie) of New London and Tim Algiers (Jane) of Sun Prairie; and his siblings, Jack Algiers of King, Ted Algiers of Watertown and Kathy Waushesock of New London. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
