He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Ted Sommer (Jodi), Rebecca Sommer (Patrick Allen) and Sara Sommer; his niece Tammy Bork (Terry); his grandsons, Henry Allen and Daniel Allen; his siblings, Curt Sommer (Marilyn) and Bonnie Kohl; his in-laws, Marty Marasch (Katie), Mike Marasch (Sheila), Mark Marasch (Kristie) and Anne Kidd; and his stepsiblings, Dorothy Peterson (Dick), Mary Zimmerman and Jim Malliet (Marcia).
