He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kalwitz and Ida Kalwitz (Spreeman); his siblings, Robert and Ruth Carew; and his parents-in-law, Kimble Romberg, Eunice Romberg, Harold Romberg, Betty Jean Romberg, Linda Hidde (Harold "Ike"), Darwin "Curly" Krenke, Barb Dobbert and Ronald Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Romberg; his daughter Nancy Campbell; his grandsons, Tom and Matt Kivisto; his parents-in-law, Dan Carew, Virginia Driver (Dan), Dorothy Allen, Donna Krenke, Frank Dobbert, Betty Foley (Larry), Mary Ellen "Susie" Fields (John), Jim Romberg and Gary Romberg (Linda); and his sister-in-law Sandy Romberg. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
