She was predeceased by: her parents, Joy Roe and Myrtle Roe (Schmidt); her husband Marvin Kaepernick; her brother Jack Roe; her grandsons, Kent and Lance; and her siblings-in-law, Duane Kaepernick, Velda Runge (Frank) and George "Chub" White.
She is survived by: her sons, John Kaepernick (Rochelle), Rand Kaepernick (Patricia), Jim Kaepernick (Lisa) and Rick (Teresa); her grandchildren, Kelly Kaepernick, Kasey Kaepernick (Teasha), Kory Kaepernick (Jamie), Kimberly Hernke (Nick), Brett Kaepernick (Sarah), Kyle Kaepernick (Lindsay), Devon Santos (George), Colin Kaepernick (Nessa Diab), Gavin Kaepernick and Jacob Kaepernick; her great grandchildren, Treston, Ellington, Lily, Leighton, Hunter, Zoey, Ezekiel, Thea, Quinn and Paige; and her sisters-in-law, Bev White, Lorraine Roe and June Kaepernick. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Due to the current pandemic, a private family service will be held for Cherie.
