He was predeceased by: his parents, Milan D. Claybaugh and Ruth D. Claybaugh (Dungan); his sister Alma "Jerry" Hill; his son Bret Claybaugh (Lorie); and his grandson Payton Claybaugh.
He is survived by: his brother Jim Claybaugh; his son Craig Claybaugh (Catherine); his wife Karen L. Heinie; his daughter Kristin Wicks (Matt); his sister Katy Gnehm; and his grandchildren, Taylor Churney, Naomi Churney, Siri Claybaugh, Carter Churney, Natalie Claybaugh, Alonzo Wicks and Marcy O'Dell (Ben).
