It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlos Cheng Yu of New London, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carlos Cheng Yu to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Yeo Boon Ting and Cheng Soon Tee; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Camille Yu (Michael Carter), Conrad (Tonya) and Carlos Otto (Brandi); his siblings, Mary Usman, Trinidad "Trining" Horrilleno and Alejandro "Alex" Yu (Gloria); his grandchildren, Elliot Carter, Otto Carter, Gabriel Yu and Auden Carter; and his stepgranddaughters, Hannah Mancini and Sophie Mancini.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made directly to the Dr. Carlos and Barbara Yu Scholarship Fund, which will provide scholarships to New London area students who show a strong moral character and have an interest in the sciences or the arts.
