She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Herter and Margaret Herter (Huebner); her husband Joseph; her brothers, Jeffery and Terry; and her son-in-law Bryant Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Gabriel, Stephen Hanadel (Mary), Cathy Besaw (Jeff), Becky Flanagan (David), Diane Fabisiak (Rich), Lori Ward, JoAnn Danke (Rick), Scott Hanadel (Mary) and Kristen Stichman; her siblings, Shirley Claassen, Charlene Magolski (Jerry) and Dennis Herter; her brother-in-law Edward Hanadel (David Gula); and her caregivers, Gladys Niemuth and Pat Gray. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a few step-grandchildren.
