He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas P. Steele and Mary Ellen "Jackie" Steele (Harrison); his stepfather Domenic Diciaula; his son Thomas P. Steele; his siblings, Sue Ann Steele, Jeffrey D. Steele and Keith W. Steele; his son-in-law Mark Phelps; and his grandson Ryan Allard.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Steele (Bobbi) of New Lisbon, Tammy Steele of New Lisbon, Toni Phelps of New Lisbon, Tricia Allard (Dean) of New Lisbon and Melissa Doely (Troy) of Janesville; and his siblings, Mary Ellen O'Brien, Nic Diciaula and Robert Steele. He is also survived by His 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
