It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sterling A. Walsh of New Lisbon, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sterling A. Walsh to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack Walsh, Verna Alt and Allen Vertein. He is survived by: his parents, Dean Walsh and Joanne Walsh (Vertein); his wife Katie Nelson; his siblings, Tiffany Haffemann (Andy), Dustin Walsh (Michelle) and Natalie Lovell (Andrew); his nieces and nephews, Evelyn, Estelle, Cole Haffemann, Caroline and Graham Walsh; his grandmother Marie Vertein; his stepgrandfather Jerry Alt; his sister-in-law Lindsey Lierman (James); and also, Bill, Jodi Nelson, Sophia and Claire. He is also survived by other relatives and many, many friends.
The gift of Sterling's life lives on through organ donation and his family is very grateful for the staff at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital, especially Nurse Anna, the organ donation team, and the Juneau County first responders for their quick and professional care.
