He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Weiland and Naydean Weiland (Georgeson); and his brother Harlyn Weiland. He is survived by: his fiancée Julie Raymond; his sons, Devin Weiland (Heather) of Oregon, WI. and Tierney Fischer of New Lisbon; his stepchildren, Brandy Blum (Mark) of New Lisbon and Tarra Rood of Elbert, CO.; his grandchildren, Keagan Blum, Kiera Blum and Taelynn Rood; and his siblings, Allen Weiland (Eva) of Wisconsin Rapids, Diane Mortensen (Glen) of New Lisbon and Wanda Weiland of Brush, CO..
His professional life reflected his natural ability to lead and manage, with significant contributions to the New Lisbon School District as the Director of Building and Grounds for 20 years, and further stints as a facilities manager at Capital Lakes, Blue Green/Christmas Mountain, and Sauk County Health Care.
